Adults only, with clear limits

OddHello is for people aged 18 and over. You must acknowledge this before chatting. That acknowledgement is not identity verification, and it cannot prove another person's age. If someone says or appears to be under 18, end the conversation and report it.

Unwanted nudity, harassment, threats, hate, scams and exploitation are not welcome. Being anonymous does not remove the community rules. Do not record or publish another participant without their clear permission.

What moderation can and cannot do

Incoming video is checked on your device and can be covered when screening finds a problem. Sent text is checked asynchronously by server-side safety systems; messages may remain covered while a check is pending. Automated decisions can be late, miss context or get things wrong.

Reports are available for human moderation. Moderators are not watching every call and do not review everything in real time. Automated checks and community reports reduce risk; they do not make random chat risk-free.

Next, Report and support

Use Next or Stop to leave immediately. Use Report when the operator should review harmful conduct, including when the stranger has just disconnected. Reports can include recent room messages and selected video frames deliberately attached to the report. Do not stay connected to gather more material.

If access is restricted, the restriction screen includes an appeal link. You can also use the operator contact in the Privacy Notice. If someone is in immediate danger, use the appropriate local emergency service; OddHello is not an emergency response service.

Small privacy habits that matter

Keep addresses, passwords, identifying documents and payment information out of a chat and out of view. Be cautious about links and requests to move elsewhere. Another participant can copy what they see, even though OddHello does not record calls.
