Never allowed

• Minors using the service or any sexual content involving a minor.
• Unwanted nudity, sexual acts, coercion, grooming, or sexual harassment.
• Threats, targeted abuse, hate speech, stalking, doxxing, or encouragement of self-harm.
• Violence, exploitation, human trafficking, or other illegal material.
• Scams, commercial solicitation, impersonation, spam, malware, or attempts to harvest data.
• Sending invitation links or shared Hot Take links as unsolicited bulk messages.
• Abusive, offensive, or infringing questions submitted to Community Hot Takes.
• Recording, screenshotting, publishing, or identifying another participant without clear permission.

Use the safety controls

Select Next to leave a conversation instantly. Select Report when moderation should review the recent room evidence, attached video frames, and chat transcript. A report immediately ends the conversation. Continuous chat checks and optional on-device video auto-blur can screen incoming content before it appears. Do not retaliate, argue, or remain connected to gather more material.

Safety limits

Automated video screening and AI-assisted report classification can be inaccurate and cannot identify every harmful message or frame. Human moderation does not happen in real time. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service rather than relying on OddHello.

Enforcement and appeals

Reports support review; report counts and unverified video frames alone do not trigger automatic bans. Moderators may dismiss a report, reverse a provisional AI-assisted suspension, apply a different ban level, preserve evidence when legally required, or revoke access for severe or repeated abuse.

If your access is restricted, the restriction screen carries a link for contesting it. A moderator reviews every appeal and can lift a restriction that was applied in error.
