Terms of Service
These terms govern access to OddHello. By continuing past the age gate, you agree to follow them each time you use the service.
Service operator
OddHello is a CritHit Studio project. Joé Weis is the Owner and Founder of CritHit Studio, which operates the service described in these terms.
Adults only
You must be at least 18 years old. The age gate is an acknowledgment, not an identity or age-verification system. Do not use OddHello if you are under 18.
Acceptable use
You may use OddHello for lawful, consensual one-to-one conversation. You must not:
- show sexual content or nudity to someone who has not clearly consented;
- harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, demean, or impersonate another person;
- share content involving minors or facilitate child sexual exploitation and abuse;
- promote violence, illegal activity, scams, phishing, malware, or commercial spam;
- submit offensive, harmful, or abusive questions via Community Hot Takes;
- evade bans, probe the service, overload it, or interfere with another user's connection.
Anonymous conversations
OddHello does not provide accounts, public profiles, identity checks, or background checks. Other users control what they say and show. Do not disclose personal or financial information that could identify or endanger you, and leave or report any conversation that feels unsafe.
Interactive queue features
Waiting-room mini-games (including Fortune 8-Ball, Star Tap, Bubble Wrap, and Community Hot Takes) are provided for entertainment during matchmaking. Submissions to Community Hot Takes undergo moderator review and, once approved, may be shown publicly and anonymously to other users.
Invitations and sharing
You may create an invitation link to bring someone to OddHello. A link expires after 24 hours, is not tied to an account, and does not guarantee a conversation with a particular person or give either of you queue priority. Shared Hot Take pages show only approved questions and aggregate vote totals. Do not send invitation or Hot Take links as unsolicited bulk messages.
Moderation and access
Reports may be assessed by automated safety models and human moderators. Automated assessment can contribute to a short temporary suspension, but does not independently impose permanent bans. We may restrict access, preserve required evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests when needed to protect users, operate the service, or meet legal obligations. If we restrict your access, you may contest it using the link on the restriction screen, and a moderator will review it.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided as available and may change, restart, or stop without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for user-generated conduct or content. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to the operator contact listed in the Privacy Notice.
